This 2 ply Jumper weight yarn is 100% Shetland wool, and is traditionally used in the knitting of Fair Isle garments and accessories.

Available in 22 of of the beautiful shades originally designed by Jamieson and Smith, this yarn is their flagship yarn and cannot be imitated in terms of depth of colour and spinning quality. 2 ply refers to the plys in the yarn, this wool is a 4 ply Woollen Spun thickness and can also be used in patterns which call for 4 ply.
 
Sold in 25g balls, with approximately 125yds/115m per 25g ball. Metric Count: 2/8.4nm.
